Exploring Rollyo

Tonite I looked at Rollyo and decided that this would be a useful tool for someone who has time to become expert in a field searchable on the internet. I think I will be more likely to use someone else's search rolls than to create one of my own.

Library Thing

Okay, today I registered 7 of my favorite books on Library Thing. It turns out that no other user of this site listed the talking book of "Prodigal Summer" read by the author, Barbara Kingsolver. Interesting... maybe I am unique in the universe of readers.

Today I learned about RSS and set up a Bloglines account with 6 feeds. I think that this will be very useful as a reference librarian, because I have little time to go all over the internet to keep up with what's happening in the world. Now I can go to one site and keep up with my favorite news feeds.
